I have recently joined Ladybirds as the new Nursery Manager.

Being Manager is something of a dream job for me after working for several years as Deputy Manager in two nurseries in Suffolk. I started my 16 years career in childcare by becoming an Ofsted registered childminder after having my son and continued with this for 4 years until my son went to school. I then moved onto to working in Nurseries and worked my way up to Deputy Manager whilst completing my level 3 and Level 5 Foundation Degree Diploma in Leadership for The Children’s and Young People’s Workforce – Early Years Management Pathway

I originate from Cromer and re- located back from Suffolk to be closer to my family, I was lucky enough to work at a local SEN school for 5 years where I gained valuable experience from working with amazing children and staff. This was a very rewarding job however I missed working in Early Years! I am very much looking forward to working with children at ladybirds, supporting them and watching their individual characters’ grow.

At home I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog Arlo on the beach and my hobby is acrylic painting.
